TheCircularLab, Ecoembes innovation center in circular economy, together with Everis and Imagine, have opened a call aimed at startups that provide ideas on recycling of domestic packaging that can be tested in a real environment in order to explore incentives for citizenship, promoting recycling through actions that can be perceived by citizens as rewards, and studying new waste collection systems that facilitate the identification and / or separation of containers for subsequent recycling.
Of all the projects presented by the startups, those 8 or 10 that are in a more advanced stage of maturation will be selected and they can be launched as pilots in real locations, which will become Living Labs of the projects. Those interested can send their proposals to email@example.com.
The project will take place between October and December of this year. Already in 2019, once the best proposals have been identified, demonstrations will be carried out on a larger scale.
The startups chosen for the quality of their innovative proposals for incentive systems and collection systems will receive the economic and strategic resources needed to carry out the pilot and to participate in a multi-phase acceleration process. In addition, they will have access to a real experimentation environment and to the ecosystem and facilities of TCL, they will have an external multidisciplinary team and their work will be supervised by professionals.
